PackBook

Terms of Service

Last updated: May 16, 2026

1. Publisher Identity

PackBook is published and operated by:

Charlie Coupe — Individual entrepreneur, France
Email: support@packbook.app
Website: app.packbook.app

PackBook is distributed as an authorized app within supported workspace platforms. By installing, accessing, or using PackBook, you accept these Terms of Service in their entirety. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not install or use the application.

2. Description of Service

PackBook is an offer checkout, client scheduling, payment, and customer portal solution for businesses using a supported workspace platform. It enables service providers to:

  • Create and publish bookable offers with public checkout links, embeds, popup buttons, compact cards, and QR codes
  • Accept payments from clients via Stripe Connect, or create scheduling-only offers with no online payment
  • Create private client plans with manual or recurring visits
  • Book single-provider or multi-provider appointments into connected calendars
  • Offer clients a self-service portal to view credits, book remaining visits, reschedule, and cancel within configured rules
  • Send automated transactional emails (booking confirmation, reminders, renewal prompts)
  • Access sales, revenue, appointment, refund, and credit tracking from a dedicated admin dashboard
  • Apply branding and, where available, remove PackBook attribution on paid tiers

PackBook acts as a technology platform. It does not provide the underlying services sold by the service provider through the application.

3. Eligibility and Account Access

To use PackBook, you must:

  • Hold an active account on the supported workspace platform
  • Install PackBook from your workspace's authorized app directory
  • Connect a Stripe account in good standing if you want to accept online payments
  • Be acting in a professional or commercial capacity — PackBook is a B2B service

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for ensuring that your use of PackBook complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction, including those governing the services you sell to your own clients.

4. Pricing and Billing

PackBook operates on two plans:

PlanMonthly FeeTransaction FeeCap per Transaction
Free$05%$10
Pro$49/month1%None

Transaction fees are automatically deducted from paid checkout proceeds at the moment of payment via Stripe Connect's application_fee_amount mechanism. No additional invoice is issued for transaction fees — they are deducted before funds reach your Stripe account.

The Pro plan monthly subscription may be billed through your workspace app billing, or — for certain legacy accounts — in advance each month via Stripe. Where Stripe applies, subscriptions can be cancelled from the Setup & Billing section. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no prorated refunds are issued for partial periods. As a professional subscriber, you acknowledge that the 14-day withdrawal right provided by French consumer law (Code de la consommation, Art. L.221-18) does not apply to B2B SaaS subscriptions where service delivery has commenced with your explicit agreement.

5. Stripe Connect and Payment Processing

PackBook uses Stripe Connect Standard to route payments directly to your Stripe account. By connecting your Stripe account to PackBook, you agree to:

PackBook does not store, access, or process payment card data at any point. All cardholder data is handled exclusively by Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1 certified). You are solely responsible for managing refunds, disputes, and chargebacks with your clients in compliance with Stripe's policies and applicable law.

Refunds issued through PackBook are processed via Stripe and subject to Stripe's own refund timelines. Application fee reversals are handled according to PackBook's refund logic and Stripe's available fee reversal mechanisms.

6. Service Availability and Modifications

PackBook is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the service with reasonable notice where possible. In the event of planned maintenance or significant changes affecting your use of the service, we will endeavour to notify you by email with at least 7 days' notice, except in cases of emergency or security incidents.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use PackBook to:

  • Engage in fraudulent transactions or misrepresent your services
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the application
  • Introduce malware, perform denial-of-service attacks, or attempt to gain unauthorized access
  • Sell, resell, or sublicense access to the service without written authorization
  • Use the service to process payments for illegal goods or services

Violation of this clause may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund, and may be reported to the relevant authorities.

8. Intellectual Property

PackBook and all associated elements — software, design, trademarks, logos, documentation — are the exclusive property of Charlie Coupe and are protected by French and international intellectual property law. No right or license is granted except the limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service as described in these Terms. You retain full ownership of your own data and the content you upload or configure within the application (branding, templates, etc.).

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by French law, Charlie Coupe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of data, business interruption, or reputational damage.

Our total aggregate liability under these Terms shall not exceed the total amounts paid by you to PackBook in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable French law (including mandatory consumer protections where applicable).

10. Termination

You may terminate your use of PackBook at any time by uninstalling the application from your workspace, or by submitting a deletion request via the "Request data deletion" button in the Settings section. Active Pro subscriptions must be cancelled separately from the Billing section before uninstalling to avoid further charges.

Upon deletion request or uninstallation, a 30-day grace period begins. During this period your data remains accessible and the request may be cancelled at any time. After 30 days, personal data (including customer contact details, notes, portal tokens, branding settings, and workspace authentication tokens) is permanently deleted or anonymized. Reinstalling the application during the grace period automatically cancels the pending deletion and restores access to your account.

Transaction records and revenue ledger entries are retained for 10 years as required by French accounting and tax law, with personal identifiers removed. You will receive an email confirmation when deletion is requested, a reminder 7 days before final deletion, and a completion notice once deletion is finalized.

Charlie Coupe may suspend or terminate your access with immediate effect if you materially breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if your Stripe account is suspended or terminated by Stripe. In non-urgent cases, we will provide written notice with a reasonable cure period before termination. Terminated accounts are subject to the same 30-day deletion grace period.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with French law(droit français), including but not limited to the Code civil, the Code de commerce, and applicable European Union regulations.

In the event of a dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms or the use of PackBook, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute amicably within 30 days of written notification. Failing amicable resolution, the dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent French courts of the jurisdiction of the publisher's registered address, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
